Trainer / tester
We are currently recruiting for a full-time trainer / tester to join our training team. Could that be you?
The role
- To deliver training and testing to candidates and to ensure that they meet awarding body standards
- To be an integral member of our training team maintaining our reputation for high quality training
- To deliver training and testing on a variety of plant to both novice and experienced candidates
- To deliver training on small tools and Health & Safety related courses such as abrasive wheels and manual handling
- Training will be delivered locally within Fife and throughout Scotland
The person
- A current trainer’s qualification is preferable but not essential as we will support the right candidate to gain these qualifications
- We are looking for a well presented, confident individual who has a natural ability to communicate effectively and an ability to inspire our candidates
- The successful candidate will be required to be flexible with travelling to customer sites and overnight stays (for up to 5 days at times) in various locations across Scotland
- Willing to work Saturday overtime during busy periods
- Must have a strong industry background with experience in operating a variety of plant – for examples forklifts, dumpers, rollers and excavators (it is not necessary to have experience in every category listed – but the more the better!)
- A current CPCS / NPORS card at operator level is preferable but not essential
- Experience of operating small tools and equipment is preferable. Training will be given where appropriate / necessary
- Be willing and open to continual personal development and training
Salary
Salary is dependent on the candidate, on your current qualifications, experience and accreditations.
