In February and March this year we supported Kingdom Works with a construction academy as part of an employability project. The training was designed to upskill and certify candidates so that they could find employment in the construction industry.
Our trainers welcomed 12 participants onto the course and they benefited from a range of training:
- Forward tipping dumper,
- Ride on roller,
- Asbestos awareness,
- Abrasive wheels,
- Manual handling
- SSP Health & Safety Awareness course
- CITB HS&E tests to gain their CSCS labourer cards
Being involved in the project and being able to support the youngsters into employment was a privilege and we hope that the skills and knowledge they learnt at Camilla Training will help them way into the future.
