Our vehicle banksman training course will provide candidates with an understanding of a safe system of work to be adopted when vehicles are being manoeuvred within the workplace.
To minimise the risk of accidents and ultimately reduce incidents that may cause injury to personnel and damage to property, vehicles and equipment.

All Terrain Vehicle Training
Aims & Objectives
The ATV training course is designed to offer candidates the fundamental knowledge and practical skills to work operate this vehicle.
Course summary
Locations
Training can be carried out at our centre in Fife, or at your own site where criteria be met. CPCS testing must be carried out at our approved test centre in Fife however NPORS testing can be carried out at your own site providing site specifications can be met.
Course Duration
A 1 day ‘test only’ can be carried out on candidates with relevant experience.
Training duration is dependent on the number of candidates, and each candidates previous experience. Generally a novice candidate would require 2 days training on the ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) (this is based on 3 candidates with little or no experience) however this could be reduced with relevant experience.
Certification
On successful completion of the course the candidates will receive an NPORS Trained Operators Our construction plant courses can be delivered with either NPORS, CPCS or our own in-house accreditation. On successful completion of the course candidates will therefore receive certification per their preference. For further information on these schemes, please click here.
4X4 Off Road Training & Testing

This is required by anyone wishing to drive an articulated lorry.
Course summary
In order to sit this test you must first pass the Category C – Rigid Vehicle test.
Practical training is usually carried out over a 5 day period with testing on the 5th day, carried out by a DSA tester.
Certification
On completion of a DSA test the category will be added to your Driving licence.

This is required by anyone wishing to drive a rigid lorry above 7.5t (and tow a trailer no heavier than 750kg)
Course summary
Before commencing the practical training you must first get the provisional entitlement on your licence. Please call us for further information on how to do this
Multiple choice theory test
A computer based multiple choice test must be sat at a DSA test centre
Hazard perception
A computer based test based on hazard perception film clips. Also sat at a DSA test centre
Practical test
Practical training can commence after successfully passing the above tests. Training and testing is usually carried out over a 5 day period.
Certification
On completion of a DSA test the category will be added to your Driving licence

Our B+E car and trailer training course is required for anyone who wishes to have formal training in order to drive towing a trailer (including a caravan and horsebox).
Course summary
Candidates will be trained both off-road and on-road and will complete a test with our trainer afterwards driving on the public road.

Between 1/2 a day and 2 days dependent on the drivers previous experience. Please get in touch to discuss your / your candidates requirements and we will tailor our course to suit.

On completion of the B+E Car and Trailer training course you will be awarded a CTA certificate
